How can I erase search easily ?
You can discard search by long pressing the big "Delete" Button. You can also choose automatic
discard or save in the preference menu.

How can I access advanced search by phone number or company;nbsp;?
Press "Menu" key, then choose "Advanced Search"

Why do I not see all my contacts ?
StarContact shows by defaut "My Contacts" group. You can change to "All Contacts" group in the preference menu.

How should I use StarContact ?
There are two search algorithms implemented (you can switch in preferences menu)
- Initials & name : First enter contact's intials then following letters of the lastname (or firstname).
Name only : Simply enter lastname (or firstname) letters.
In most cases first algorithm is faster because many firstname/lastname are the same.
You have to press each key only once. StarContact does an automatic predective search on
all 3 letters of each key.

I find virtual Keyboard too big on screen ..
Switch to the compact keyboard in the preference menu.

Can I put StarContact as my default contact application ?
You can put StarContact on your desktop. Just click and hold StarContact
Icon then drag it to the desktop.
For security reason we cannot put StarContact inside the Android contact
application neither add Android tabs inside our application.

Does StarContact work with physical keyboard ?
Yes. If you use physical keyboard search it is based on one single letter per key

Is it working with Chinese names ?
Currently StarContact algorithm only support letters.
Numbers and Chinese characters are considered as wildcard and so search is
skipped on those characters
